How can I get my Sony Vaio's static-detecting touch pad to work normally in my extremely dry house?
I have a Sony Vaio VGN-NW270F/S, and the touch pad is going crazy since I got home to my very dry house that has lots of static electricity in it. I had to run my shower to make the room humid enough to even operate my computer today. Is there some kind of trick I can do on myself to prepare my hands just before I touch the touch pad? The touch pad is considered "electro-static" if that helps at all.
