How can I recover my sony VAIO vista laptop?
How can I recover my sony vaio with Vista when system restore does not work and I can not boot the system and can not get to command prompt either. Error code Cyclic Redundancy Check (0X80070017) while trying to run system restore. Any help is appreciated.

Order the system recovery disc set by model and serial number from Sony Support. http://esupport.sony.com/ If you created the recovery disc set or they came with your lap top use them and do a system repair or re install.
