Sony Vaio and a Sony PS3

Can you sync a Sony Vaio and a Sony Ps3?
I just bought both a Sony Vaio and a Sony PS3, and i was wondering whether you can sync the two in some way? I would imagine since both are sony products that this may be possible. I am just wondering if the two can communicate to each other directly through wi-fi through some kind of function.

You can communicate with a PS3 using any computer. It has to be done using a Media Server (this is the only way your laptop will communicate with the PS3 as well). The most popular Media Servers are WMP11 (Windows Media Player 11) and TVersity, both of which are free. I use both at the same time, but only because WMP11 doesn't like to stream mp4 files. You can transfer photo, music, and video files using a Media Server. These are the only things you can transfer through the Media Server. Here is a page that will give you a few Media Servers, and explain how to set them up if you are not familiar on how to do it: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=158357
