Sony Vaio VPCEA24FM

How to adjust Windows 7 color on a Sony Vaio VPCEA24FM?
I just bought this Sony Vaio VPCEA24FM laptop. It is installed with Window 7. The color on the screen looks washed out and dull overall. I was able to adjust the contrast by right click on the desktop. BUT, window 7 keeps on override my settings to default every 1 or 2 hours. I wonder if anyone can help me with this problem. Thanks.

Every file present in your registry contains a command or direction for every program and application on your computer. Registry files are the files that give your computer the instructions for what to do next. If these registry files get corrupt or misplaced, your computer fails to understand what to do. In these instances, your computer loses control, eventually leading to a crash. At this stage the priority is to fix these registry files. In such situations it is suggested that you do not try to fix the registry yourself. Immediately find registry cleaner software Reginout and scan your computer to locate any errors. This software will identify all the missing entries or errors, restoring them right away. In many cases, your computer will be back to normal. It is recommended that you run this software once a month for best results.

Hi Green, Changing brightness on a computer can definitely be a bit irritating. Here's a how-to for adjusting the brightness of your computer screen: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Adjust-your-monitors-brightness-and-contrast. You may also have sun sensitive features on your new computer that automatically adjust depending on the light environment. In that case, you'll want to disable the Adaptive Brightness feature in Windows 7. To do so use the following steps: Open Power Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, and then clicking Power Options. Under any plan, click Change plan settings. Click Change advanced power settings. In the list, expand Display, and then expand Enable adaptive brightness. To turn adaptive brightness on or off when your computer is running on battery power, click On battery, and then, in the list, click On or Off. To turn adaptive brightness on or off when your computer is plugged into an outlet, click Plugged in, and then, in the list, click On or Off. Click Apply. Click OK. Hope this helps!
