There aren't many Vaio's that are new at that price since its more of a higher-end model of laptop. If your trying to find a quality laptop under a grand that would compete with a Vaio in terms of system performance, I would consider Gateway. Their new laptops rival the performance and price of Vaio's greatly.

For first, its a nice choice if youre looking for a Windows based laptop, but why dont you checkout the Apple's Macs?, lower prices and you get up to 5 times more than what a Windows based PC offers for a much lower price....

Ebay I think is your best place for great prices. Just got a 900.00 laptop (new) for 550.00
