you're gonna have to open up your computer to figure it out. first you need to find out what ports you have available. If you have an AGP or a PCI-Express x16 slot on your motherboard then you will be able to put a card in there. If all you have is PCI left on your motherboard then you will not be able to upgrade. there are PCI cards available but unfortunately they won't be able to increase your performance in gaming. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_E http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agp http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_Local_Bus after that, check out your Power Supply Unit and find what type of Wattage it has, if it is below 350 watts then you will have to upgrade to a higher capacity, usually around 500 watts. then finally see what kind of connectors are on your PSU, each card is different but usually need 4 or 6 pin connectors in order for them to function. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_psu

How long does it take to ship a sony vaio laptop?
How long does it take to ship a sony vaio laptop?
Today i ordered a customized sony vaio ea laptop online. I chose express delivery and they said it should be shipped in one or two days, but now when i look back at the order information it says it should be shipped in a week. Does anyone have experience with sony and know how long it takes for them to ship a laptop to ontario?

Most companies have a general shipping policy and theirs may be a week on the order form, however, they may have known that they could ship out in 1-2 days. So, the question is... is the form telling you it will be shipped within a week or you should receive it within a week? I would call the company or email with your order number, most companies will have information online that you can see. Hope this helps.

Why does my Sony Vaio laptop goes into standby while downloading?
Why does my Sony Vaio laptop goes into standby while downloading?
I have been downloading some movies off iTunes with my Sony Vaio. After some time, the laptop goes into standby and the downloads stops. What can I do so my movies can download overnight without stopping?

You could actually change the battery settings to stop this from happening... Click on the Battery Icon on the Task Bar -> Click More Power Options -> Click Change Settings (for the Power Option that is selected) - > and select the options as required.
2 :
Your laptop is probably set to go into standby mode after a certain amount of idle time. check your power settings.
