Is it possible to put ram from a hp laptop into a sony vaio laptop?
I have a old sony vaio i just pulled out after like 3-4 years, And my old hp laptops cords short circuited So i am wondering if i can take the ram, Or memory out of it and put it into the sony vaio. Thanks Thanks for the answers, Ill get right to that.

Yes and No. The Ram must be compaitable with the Sony. go to crucial.com and run the scanner program, It will tell you what Ram(TYPE) you have installed and the maxium you can install. Copare this to the Ram from your HP. If they are the same you are good to go. If not, just but some new Ram. They are very cheap now.

Perhaps. In general, laptops of the same vintage used pretty much the same type memory, but you'll want to check both your HP and Sony laptop specs to make sure they use the same type of memory. Probably DDR2 from 3-4 years ago.

How can i connect my sony vaio laptop to internet?
how can i connect my sony vaio laptop to internet?
i have a desktop connected to inetrnet through modem and plugged in my phone line, now how can i connect my new sony vaio laptop to internet, do i need to call my service provider or i need to buy any other stuff with it.........need help. Thanks.

Hi Maryan, If your modem is a wifi enabled one then you can connect your laptop via that method. If not then contact your ISP and see if they do a wifi upgrade for your connection package.

You can hook it up yourself. You can buy a wireless router to hook the laptop up to the internet, but since you are using dialup, the connection speed will be really slow. You can also try using a wired router, with an external modem, and a wireless access point. Other options are listed on the website shown in the source field. Your internet service provider might also be able to offer some help, so contacting them is a good idea too.

You can buy .wireless router and connect it to your modem, then connect your desktop to the router. Your laptop will be connected to internet wirelessly through WIFI router.

I want a laptop and also want an internet card, i'm thinking of getting the sony vaio cause its pretty. Also, do you know if the tmobile internet card is good? :)

How do I find the Stereo Mix on my Sony VAIO VPCCW21FX?
Hello I have a Sony VAIO VPCCW21FX, and I really can't find the Stereo Mix Device, I've tried to uncheck the "Show Disabled Devices" & "Show Disconnected Devices" but nothing that shows Stereo Mix. Can someone help me how to find the Stereo Mix? Oh I have Windows 7.
