How to system restore Sony Vaio Ubuntu?
I installed Ubuntu on my Sony Vaio laptop a week or two ago, but it's really messed up and I'd like to reset my computer to factory default settings but I have no idea how. I know how to get to the BIOS settings, but there's nothing in there for system restore. Help would be appreciated. And yeah, I already backed up all of the stuff I want.

press the blue Fn (function) key beside the windows key on the left hand side of the keyboard. then press left arrow. it should have a blue "Home" on it.

how to get into the bios menu on a new sony vaio?
I recently bought a sony vaio and stupidly have forgotten the password!! Ive been trying to get into the bios menu by pressing all the f1 f2 f3 etc buttons but nothing seems to work! anyone know how to get into bios?

Press F2 during bootup to enter BIOS in VAIO or your model could support delete key.
2 :
hey slow down.. when the laptop starts(when u switch on) keep tapping F8 key or Delete key. this will take you to BIOS Normally Delete key will work..is some cases F8

Olivia dear we need to know your operating system you are running. If you have Win 7 look in Devices and Printers in the start menu and see if the web cam is listed. The drivers may not be installed. Good luck
